About Elix Systems
Elix Systems was created in 2020 by an experienced engineering team who shared a passion for autonomous flying vehicles. The experienced engineering team leverages their solid background in video processing, security and human machine interface to develop electronics systems for highly demanding industries such as aerospace, defence and medical.
Our strong core team in Switzerland includes 18 members, featuring four experienced executives in management, technology, products, program management, and partner network management. We are a high-profile, high-performance team committed to quality, holding ISO 9001 and EN 9100 certifications.
Our near-shore site in Serbia, comprising 20 professionals, focuses on engineering and technical workshops. This site has maintained ISO 9001 certification since 2020, ensuring high standards in all operations.
We collaborate with a network of qualified partners, including experts and contractors, and manufacturing partners across Europe. Our technology partners span Switzerland, France, Sweden, Ukraine, Serbia and Israel, supporting software and hardware engineering scalability.

Production Manager
To support the continued growth of its production activities, Elix is looking for a Production Manager to join its team in Lausanne. This is a new position. Reporting to the COO, you will work closely with project managers, the Quality Manager, engineering teams and manufacturing partners to plan and manage production activities through to customer delivery.
The scope includes the production and repair of electronic systems, electronic boards, test equipment and cables, with volumes ranging from prototypes to small production series of tens of units. Production activities cover component and service procurement, coordination of manufacturing partners and subcontractors, inventory management and quality control.

System Engineer – Qualification and FAE
You will work closely with project managers, customers, engineering teams and external qualification laboratories throughout the lifecycle of Elix products, from development and qualification to production, customer integration and in-service support.
Working as part of the engineering team, you will contribute to the integration, qualification and continuous improvement of Elix products, with a particular focus on the SummitX product range. This position offers the opportunity to develop broad, transversal skills across hardware, software and systems engineering through three closely related areas: Field Application Engineering, Product Qualification, Tooling.

Hardware Engineer
To support the continued growth of its engineering activities, Elix is looking for a Hardware Engineer to join its team in Lausanne.
You will join the Elix hardware engineering team and contribute to the design and development of advanced electronic products for aerospace. Working closely with system, FPGA and software engineers, you will be involved throughout the complete hardware development cycle, from architecture and component selection to schematic design, PCB layout, bring-up, verification, qualification and production support.
The role covers a broad range of electronic designs, including high-speed digital systems, processors and FPGAs, power supplies, analog interfaces and communication interfaces. Depending on your experience, you will progressively take ownership of complete boards and hardware work packages.
