Elix Systems’ technology products bring the highest  level of situational awareness processing to aerospace and defense applications.  

The SummitX product series are rugged, pre-qualified  mission computers  for mission-critical  applications that require the highest level of power for the optimum size and weight. 

“Designed for  Safety” is an Elix Systems core competency. From the outset, SummitX have been engineered with DO-178C/DO-254 design safety rules, documentation and independent verification and  validation applied across the whole development process. 

SummitX supports mixed safety-critical levels of HWCI and CSCI via  its multi-processor partitioned architecture.  

SummitX solutions are available with all the documentation and  artifacts required for RTCA DO-178C/DO-254 certification up to level  C.

The systems combine high-performance Intel CPU/GPU which can operate at maximum frequency on all cores and an  optional  Accelerated AI co-processor. This AI processor adds up to 28 TOPS of processing power, enabling simultaneous analysis and interpretation of simultaneous data from 4 video feeds or more.

With the ability to interact with commercial avionics interfaces connected  to various sensors to acquire and process data and share it over a network or other standard avionics buses, SummitX solutions feature all the core functions required for modern Integrated avionics  applications.

Most avionics computer configurations serve a specific purpose, each  requiring certain interfaces to the outside world. SummitX’s configurable  front-panel and COTS flavors covers a wide  range of commercial flight computers, display processors, and mission  computers. SummitX computers are designed to stack and communicate to offer various redundancy configuration and address the highest level of availability.
